LOSH’s Information Service provides information on anything that has to do with occupational health and safety. Our resource centre and library offers information on the prevention and management of workplace injuries and exposure to disease. We loan, free of charge, educational materials as needed; including studies, books, medical information, videos, solutions, and other relevant resources. We have information on ergonomics, indoor air quality, chemical exposure, health stresses, etc.
Our inquiry service gives people access to information as requested through our staff research and contacts within our group of collaborative partners. Our referral service enables our clients to access the services they need immediately, without the need to research their options on their own. It is particularly daunting trying to find all of the necessary information after something like a workplace injury occurs, and we strive a alleviate some of the unnecessary stress in particularly stressful situations.
